Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Amarcode Studios Limited, trading as dotQuant ("we", "us" or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit dotquant.io and use our services (the "Service"). It describes what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can manage them.

Last updated: February 22, 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called third-party cookies.

2. How We Use Cookies

dotQuant uses only strictly necessary (essential) cookies that are required for the Service to function correctly by default. We also use optional analytics cookies via Google Tag Manager, but these are only activated after you have given your consent through our cookie banner.

Our use of cookies includes:

a. Authentication Cookies

When you log in to dotQuant, a session cookie is set to authenticate your identity and keep you signed in as you navigate the Service. This cookie is managed by our authentication provider (Hanko) and is essential to accessing your dashboard.

b. Security Cookies

We may use cookies to detect authentication abuse, prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and protect the integrity of your session.

c. Preference Cookies

We may store a small cookie to remember user interface preferences (e.g., sidebar state, cookie consent choice). These do not contain personal data and are not shared with third parties.

d. Analytics Cookies (Optional — Consent Required)

If you accept analytics cookies via the cookie consent banner, we load Google Tag Manager which may set cookies from Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, and improve our services. No analytics data is collected unless you explicitly consent.

3. Cookies We Use

The following table describes the cookies currently used by dotQuant:

4. Third-Party Cookies

If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Tag Manager will load scripts from Google that may set third-party cookies. These are used to:

  • Measure site traffic and user behaviour (Google Analytics 4);
  • Track the effectiveness of Google Ads campaigns;
  • Attribute conversions to specific advertising clicks.
These cookies are only set after you accept via the cookie consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the dq_cookie_consent cookie from your browser.

Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may also set essential security cookies to protect the Service from malicious traffic. These cookies are strictly functional and do not track your browsing activity across other websites.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually;
  • Block third-party cookies;
  • Block cookies from specific sites;
  • Block all cookies;
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser.
Please note: If you disable essential cookies, you will not be able to log in or use the dotQuant Service, as authentication requires session cookies to function.

For instructions on managing cookies in popular browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. dotQuant respects your cookie consent choice — if you reject cookies via our banner, no analytics or tracking scripts are loaded regardless of your DNT setting.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our practices. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
